Join us for Private Sanctuary tours

If you are interested in visiting the Animals of Xanadu, please read our guidelines and then submit the tour request form below. Once you receive a confirmation from us, your tour will be booked!
- Tour days are Saturdays at 11AM or 1PM and are approximately one hour long.
- Tour fee is $250 for 1 visit. You may include 1-4 people in your group for the one fee.
- Tours are by appointment only and take place exclusively outside, weather permitting. If a reservation needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be notified the morning of to reschedule.
- We schedule these tours around our regular feeding schedules, so guests arriving late may miss the opportunity to meet some of our amazing rescues. Come on time so you don’t miss anything.
- Please note that the tour path and pasture are not paved. It’s an uneven walk through grass & dirt with mild inclines.
- Guests are encouraged to wear closed toe shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
- Children are allowed to visit under adult supervision at all times. Please let us know how many children are in your group at the time of booking.
- For the safety of our rescues, companion animals and other pets are not allowed on the Sanctuary grounds. Service animals are not permitted in certain areas and pastures of the sanctuary.
- All guests must sign a liability waiver here prior to entry to the Sanctuary. We will provide a copy to sign, but you can read the liability waiver All members of the party visiting must sign the waiver. For minors, a liab waiver will be completed and signed by the parent/guardian.
- No outside food is permitted. Please do not feed anything to the animals on your own. We will provide snacks and treats to share with the animals during your visit.
- Please note that your Tour request is a request. We will do our best to accommodate everyone on the day and time they request, but it is not guaranteed. Please do not issue payment until you received a confirmation from us within 72 hours of your request submission.
- Payment can be made through Xanadu’s Venmo or Paypal accounts. Instructions will be provided with your confirmation. The tour booking is only valid for the date and time listed on the confirmation. Proof of payment will be requested at the time of admission.
- We kindly remind our visitors that while we are super excited to share the Xanadu animals with them live and in person, our mission is dedicated to their health and well-being. This is their home and safety comes first. We cannot guarantee which residents will come over to say hello or want their photo taken, and it is their right to avoid interaction if they wish.
- Xanadu is a 501(c)(3) Non profit organization. It is solely run by volunteers and is funded only by donations from our general supporters. We don’t’ receive any government or private funding so we rely on the generosity of our donors. All proceeds from the private tours go directly the Animals’ Hay fund to keep them fed year-round.
